Community Advocacy
Road Safety Advocacy
Lead Advocate and University of Oregon Student Government Representative
Eugene, Oregon
I represented the University of Oregon student government in meetings, community events, and press conferences advocating for safer streets in Eugene. Working with the Mayor of Eugene, city leaders, Oregon policymakers, state representatives, students, and community advocates, I helped advance pedestrian, bicycle, and road-safety awareness. Our collective advocacy contributed to the Patterson Street Safety Pilot and redesign, improving safety for people walking, biking, using transit, and driving.

Education Outreach
Rural STEAM Education Outreach
Krutiase, Ghana | In Collaboration with Young at Heart Ghana
I work with teachers, community elders, learners, and Young at Heart Ghana to support rural education through artificial intelligence, augmented reality, virtual reality, STEAM education, and African Indigenous Knowledge Systems. Through this work, I have organized teacher professional-development workshops and training sessions that help educators use culturally relevant, technology-enhanced learning approaches in their classrooms.
Teachers collaborate in co-design activities, combining African storytelling, local knowledge, and emerging technologies to make STEAM learning more engaging and meaningful for students. I also helped launch and test the Ananse the Teacher AR–AI Platform, an immersive-media learning platform designed to support rural STEAM education in Ghana. The platform connects African folklore and Indigenous Knowledge Systems with AI, AR, and interactive learning experiences for students and teachers. Teachers’ feedback from the co-design process guides the platform’s continued development so that it remains culturally grounded and responsive to rural learning needs.

Student Support
Student Fundraising and Basic Needs Advocacy
University of Oregon
As Secretary in the Advocacy Department within the University of Oregon student government, I championed and led fundraising efforts to support University of Oregon students, especially international students and students experiencing financial hardship. I worked with student leaders and campus partners to raise awareness and mobilize support for students facing food, housing, financial, technology, textbook, and other basic-needs challenges. The University of Oregon Basic Needs Program connects students with these types of essential resources.
