Organizations Founded
Appiah Sports Impact
A nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing youth development through sports and education in Africa. Established and led since September 2023, the organization designs community programs promoting education, discipline, and leadership through sports.
Ghanaian Students Association
Founded and led the association at the University of Oregon to support Ghanaian students' academic and social integration. Organizes cultural, academic, and networking events while advocating for student welfare and representation.
Programs Organized
Faculty–Student Panel Discussions (2025 & 2026)
Organized university-wide academic discussions connecting faculty and students on education, policy, leadership, culture, and research. Featured guest panelists included Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo (2025), and Prof. Elsie Effah Kaufmann, Dean of the School of Engineering Sciences, University of Ghana (2026). Managed event coordination for 32 and 23 attendees respectively, and authorized official certificates of recognition.
Student-Led Street Awareness & Safety Initiative
Planned and coordinated community outreach promoting pedestrian and public safety in Eugene, Oregon. Raised awareness about traffic fatalities and the implementation of Vision Zero policies in partnership with media coverage in the Oregon Daily Emerald.
Basic Needs Fundraising Initiative
Led fundraising efforts to support students with food, housing, emergency assistance, and other essential needs. Successfully secured $50,000 in emergency funding for international students facing fiscal and legal emergencies at the University of Oregon
